Alumina parallelepipeds // High precision ceramic instruments – AP
Alumina parallelepipeds // High precision ceramic instruments – AP
Description
The Alumina parallel blocks are very light and have excellent dimensional stability (see table of materials). They are machined and lapped with accuracy grade 00 and 000 on three sides at 90° and ground on the side faces (± 20 µm/m). Their shape allows the positioning in an easy and precise way. Wooden case upon request. Microplan® Test Report included. Calibration Certificate available on request*.
Nanoline Alumina high precision instruments
In the field of measuring instruments, the search for new materials with improved mechanical and physical characteristics, led to the use of ceramics for the manufacture of certain instruments. The Alumina (Al2O3) produced by the Microplan® Group has technical characteristics suitable for metrology, such as dimensional stability, hardness, low expansion coefficient and an excellent modulus of elasticity. The tools ofNanoline Aluminaserie are an alternative, cost-effective, compared to the same products in silicon carbide Si-sic, despite having very similar characteristics.
