MICROPLAN designs and integrates complete lifting-point provisions on granite structures and machine bases for the installation of fixed lifting eyes (eyebolt/eye nut) or swivel/pivoting hoist rings, correctly sized for safe handling and lifting.

The service includes CNC drilling, installation of AISI 303 stainless-steel threaded inserts bonded with epoxy resin, verified using calibrated torque wrenches, and selection of the thread size and pitch (ØM/thread) based on load mass, center of gravity, number of pick points, sling angles, and required WLL (Working Load Limit).

On request, we support the customer in choosing the most suitable lifting eye type (fixed or swivel), defining lifting-point locations, and providing tightening torque and inspection guidelines, to ensure a reliable lifting solution for granite components used in structures, metrology, and machine tool bases.
