Threaded inserts on granite
Threaded inserts on granite
Installation of threaded inserts on granite for fastening, clamping, and mechanical fixturing.
Description
Standard AISI 303 stainless-steel threaded inserts are bonded onto granite surfaces using epoxy resin to allow clamping/fixturing of components on the granite structure, and they are tested for tensile (pull-out) strength. Upon request, the MICROPLAN Group can supply special inserts or bushings with non-standard dimensions, thread pitches, and tolerances, or it can install inserts provided by the customer.
